The down-low

Alright people,

So, it's been a long time, and I mean a very long time, since my last post. As it happens my browser wasn't allowing me to log in, but I've fixed that now.

So what's happening? The big thing right now is that a friend of mine and I are starting a dedicated video blog. We'll be releasing 1 episode every week or so, providing things go smoothly. This one will be a shared project, so it'll be kept up to date, and hopefully will become popular.

Best of wishes, and wish me luck on the v-blog.

Pi Day!

Well people, the long awaited day is here. 18 years have I waited this day, only to realise that it is no more special than any other. I am, of course talking about my 18th birthday.

Today is a day that signifies my stepping into manhood, and taking on the responsibilities that life has seen fit to shove into my arms.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm excited. I'm 18, I'm legal in most ways now. I can get a credit card and pay for things with money that isn't mine, and then pay off what I owe at the end of the month, I can buy lottery tickets. That about sums it up, as far as I can think, although I'm sure there are more.

But there's an even better reason to celebrate today, aside from my birthday. Today is not only my birthday, but that of Einstein as well. Some of you might know him, others, might not and should read a book.

Yes, my birthday happens to fall under that of a famous figure, but more importantly, if you look at my blog name, 'piguywill', you'll notice that pi is a mathematical number, which is equal to 3.14159 26535 89793 23846 26433 83279 50288 41971 69399 37510, ect. But the most important thing to realise, is that today, March 14th, is the international day of pi! That's right, although it is just a coincidence I chose pieguy as my blogger name, and later agreed with my sister on changing it to pi, I somehow feel it is destiny. And the fact that I turn 18 on my first celebration of international pi day, make it all that much sweeter.

Here's hoping everyone has a happy Pi-Day,

Pi.

Midnight Madness!

So, this weekend at my friend Jon's LAN party, (local area network) we were going to Shoppers Drugmart to get drinks and pop. On our way there, we were running past Tim Hortons to get there in time (10 to midnight). Anyhow, we passed a police cruiser as we ran, who stopped and pulled a u-ey into the parking lot. After waiting a minute, we continued on our way to Shoppers.

Once picking up our provisions, we went to the cash only to have the same police officer bust in, and order us to get on our knees with our hands on our heads. After calling for backup and asking us our names, and where we were from, they seperated yours truely for interrigation. They asked my name, date of birth, what I had been doing earlier, where I came from, how I got to Shoppers, and what I was doing. They also asked my home address to check for a warrant.

They also pulled away my friend Nick for a rather LESS serious question session, but still, pretty intense.

Needless to say, there was a robery, young men were involved, and us 'running' to get to shoppers was enough to make us seems suspicious. I am happy to say they left us be, only after 3 other officers arrived (4 in total), and appologizing for the mistake. I'm also happy to say I didn't crack under pressure. And, am glad they are doing their jobs.

As we were rounding the bend to get back to the house, a set of red lights caught our eye, and the police, the same ones from 10 minutes ago, were literally 3 houses down from where we told them we were coming from, and going to.

We later saw them search someone against their car, and put them in the squad car. Good on them, although rather awkward about how close it was to our 'base of operations'.

So, all in all an eventful night.

Alright

So, with the end of the semester here, and a new one with new courses just around the corner, I'd like to say that I'm a little dissapointed in myself for not putting enough time into this blog. Many of you have told me in person to start blogging again, and I want to, so I'll do my best. Philosophy class is done, and it was fun, boring, and un-educational. I guess the entire point of that class was to learn to ask questions, but we didn't really do much of that.

This coming semesters courses include: English, History, Photography, and Business.

What this means, is that although I will try to provide a philosophical thought from time to time, I will also be adding pictures I've taken to the site so you can all see. I hope you'll enjoy it, and I hope that I'll be able to keep it up.

Thanks for being supportive,

The triumphant return of piguy?

So, as you may have noticed (and if you didn't, I pity you), I haven't made any posts in a month or so. School, stage crew, work, friends, and very little sleep have kept me too busy to take care of my blog and help it grow.

So, as of now I am officially telling you, I'll get around to it, someday. Exams are coming up, tests are here, friends are persistent to hang out, and worst of all, work keeps me so busy, that I don't get much sleep.

I will do my best to at least make 1 post a week, if not more. We'll just have to see how things are going. I appologize for not being more active, but that's the way the philosophical cookie crumbles.

So, the triumphant return of piguy?? Maybe.
